I'm covered by HomeCare or have a services contract with you

You can book an engineer online for all problems or use the app (apart from plumbing and drains breakdowns, as they’re not currently available on there).

I don't have HomeCare cover or a services contract

If you're not a British Gas customer, we should still be able to give you a hand with your boiler, plumbing and drains, electrical, or a kitchen appliance problem. Simply book a one-off repair.
 

One of our expert engineers will look at your boiler and central heating and give you a repair quote. If you're happy with it, our engineer will start the repair. If you decide not to go ahead, you'll only be charged for 30 minutes of the engineer's time.

I want to change my breakdown appointment

You can change the time or date of your appointment online. Just follow the steps below. 
 

  1. Access your account online
  2. Select the 'Track, reschedule or cancel your appointment' option
  3. Click 'Change booking' and confirm the new date, time and telephone number
  4. Look out for an email confirming your new appointment
